How do I register if I have a Groupon?
If you purchase a class via Groupon or any other third party, you must create your personal profile in order to book your first class at Cyclinsanity Fitness. This can be done by going to our SCHEDULE PAGE and clicking any one of the 'sign up' buttons. Create your account by filling out all of the required information. You must also put a valid credit card on file as well. After you complete this process and agree to our waiver, submit your info. The next step is contacting our studio and choosing your first class. You have a 72 hour window for your first booking. When you arrive for your first class, present your Groupon voucher at our front desk and it will be redeemed.
Do you have any age restrictions/requirements?
No one under 18 is allowed unless accompanied by an adult. (Note: this does not include our teen rides).
Do I need cycling shoes?
No. Our bikes are equipped to be used with or without cycling shoes. So you can bring your own cycling shoes if you are a pro, or sneakers will do just fine for those of you who want to rough it.
Do you supply water?
Yes, we do have water. There is a water fountain and we sell $1 bottled water.
Do you have lockers?
Yes we do! You are free to use any of our lockers - just bring your own lock.
Do you have showers?
Of course! We have two showers - one for men and one for women. Plus they're both handicap accessible!
What happens if I'm wait-listed?
Each class has a wait-list limit, and you should check about an hour before the class to see if there is availability. If there's availability and you are next in line, don’t worry! You will already be booked for that class. Please check for email confirmations.
What's your cancellation policy?
To receive a full credit for a cancellation of a ride reservation, reserved bikes may be cancelled up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled class without penalty for non-package holders as well as package holders.
For all monthly unlimited autopay membership riders, you must give us 30 day notice prior to your next bill date if you are cancelling your membership. Member must also come into the studio to sign a cancellation form as well. Membership will be terminated 30 days after form has been filled out. There are no exceptions.
For all Groupon package holders: if you do not cancel or show up for this class you will have that class taken off your package and will be charged a $15 cancellation fee.
For all Monthly Unlimited packages and Groupon Monthly Unlimited packages: if you do not cancel or show up for your class when we are full, management has the right to charge a $15 late cancellation fee as well. Bikes can be cancelled by logging onto your account or by calling the studio at 516-442-2014.
All notifications on our site are email-based, so if you do not get an email confirmation when you cancel it did NOT go through. Please call us to confirm a cancellation if you do not receive an email confirmation.
What are the expiration dates on class packages?
The 10 class pack expires within 3 months. The 20 class pack expires within 6 months. Single rides expire in one month. The month-to-month, no contract package expires one month after sale date. Additional packages require 3 month or 12 month commitment.
